Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Asli Learn (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We provide live, instructor-led online training programs in Full Stack Development, Cybersecurity, Data Science & Generative AI, and DevOps/Cloud Computing (collectively, the “Courses” or “Services”), delivered through our website, mobile application, and/or third-party learning platforms.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Student”, “User”, “you”) and Asli Learn, governed by the laws of India. By registering for any Course, accessing our live classes, or using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines set out below. If you do not agree, please do not enroll in or use our Services.

1. Definitions

  • “Course” means any fixed-term training program offered by Asli Learn, including live sessions, recorded content, assignments, projects, and assessments.
  • “Live Class” means a scheduled, real-time instructor-led online session delivered via video-conferencing tools.
  • “Batch” means a group of Students enrolled together for a specific Course cohort with a defined start and end date.
  • “Fixed-Term Package” means a Course sold as a complete package for a defined duration and defined number of live sessions, modules, and deliverables.
  • “Platform” means our website, app, and any third-party tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, LMS, community chat tools) used to deliver the Services.

2. Enrollment and Fixed-Term Course Packages

All Courses are offered as Fixed-Term Packages with a defined start date, end date, curriculum, number of live sessions, and total course fee communicated at the time of enrollment.

  • Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or the agreed installment as per the payment plan opted at checkout.
  • The batch schedule, faculty, and curriculum outline shared at enrollment are indicative and may be adjusted for pedagogical, technical, or operational reasons, with reasonable prior notice to enrolled Students.
  • A Fixed-Term Package is valid only for the batch/cohort duration assigned at enrollment. Access to live classes, recordings, and LMS content will ordinarily expire 30 days after the official end date of the Course, unless otherwise specified in your enrollment confirmation.
  • Switching batches, pausing enrollment, or extending access beyond the fixed term is at the sole discretion of the Company and may attract additional charges.
  • Course fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST) unless stated otherwise, and taxes will be charged as per prevailing Indian tax law.

3. Live Class Terms

3.1 Scheduling and Delivery
  • Live classes are conducted at pre-announced times as per the batch timetable shared with Students. Timings are generally in Indian Standard Time (IST).
  • Classes are delivered through third-party video-conferencing platforms. The Company is not responsible for outages, bugs, or limitations of such third-party tools, though we will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption.
  • Session recordings, where available, will be uploaded to the LMS within a reasonable time after the live session and will remain accessible only for the duration specified in Section 2.
3.2 Rescheduling and Missed Classes
  • The Company reserves the right to reschedule, postpone, or substitute an instructor for a live class due to unavoidable circumstances (illness, technical failure, force majeure, etc.), with prior communication to Students wherever possible.
  • Students who miss a live class may refer to the recorded session (where available) and doubt-clearing sessions; missed classes do not, by themselves, entitle a Student to a refund, extension, or compensation.
  • Repeated absenteeism may affect eligibility for placement assistance, certification, or project evaluation, where such benefits are conditional on minimum attendance as communicated separately.
3.3 Technical Requirements
  • Students are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection, a compatible device (laptop/desktop recommended for coding-intensive sessions), and any required software/tools (IDE, cloud accounts, etc.) necessary to attend live classes and complete coursework.
  • The Company is not liable for a Student’s inability to attend or participate in live classes due to the Student’s own internet, hardware, or software issues.
3.4 Conduct During Live Classes
  • Students must conduct themselves respectfully towards instructors and fellow Students during live sessions, in line with the Community Guidelines in Section 7.
  • Recording, screen-capturing, downloading, or redistributing live class content or recordings without written permission from the Company is strictly prohibited (see Section 9 on Intellectual Property).
  • The Company reserves the right to remove any Student from a live session, and where necessary suspend or terminate their enrollment without refund, for conduct that disrupts the class or violates these Terms.

4. Accessibility

We are committed to making our live classes and learning content usable by as many Students as reasonably possible.

  • Live classes are accompanied by recordings and downloadable notes/slides (where applicable) to support Students who face connectivity issues or need to revisit material at their own pace.
  • We aim to ensure our website and LMS are navigable via standard keyboard and screen-reader-compatible browsers; if you encounter an accessibility barrier, please write to us at support@aslilearn.com and we will make reasonable efforts to assist.
  • Students requiring accommodations due to a disability (e.g., extended assignment deadlines, alternate formats of study material) may contact our support team, and requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Minimum recommended device specifications, browser versions, and bandwidth requirements for a smooth live-class experience will be shared at the time of onboarding.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Cancellation by the Student
  • You may cancel your enrollment by submitting a written cancellation request to support@aslilearn.com from your registered email address, stating your enrollment ID and reason for cancellation.
  • Cancellation requests are effective from the date of written acknowledgment by the Company, not from the date of sending the request.
  • Once cancelled, access to the Course (live classes, recordings, LMS, community groups) will be revoked as per the timelines in Section 6 (Refund Policy).
5.2 Cancellation or Rescheduling by the Company
  • The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a batch prior to commencement due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other operational reasons. In such cases, enrolled Students will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another batch.
  • In the rare event a Course is discontinued mid-way for reasons attributable to the Company, Students will be offered a pro-rated refund for unutilized sessions or a transfer to an equivalent Course, at the Student’s choice.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 Cooling-Off Period
  • Students may request a full refund (minus any payment-gateway charges actually incurred) within 7 calendar days of enrollment, provided the batch has not yet started and the Student has not accessed more than 1 live class or a limited portion of paid content, whichever is defined in your enrollment confirmation.
6.2 Refunds After Batch Commencement
  • Once the batch has commenced and the Student has attended or has had access to 2 or more live classes/modules, the Course fee becomes largely non-refundable, reflecting the Company’s cost of reserving a seat, faculty time, and curriculum access already extended.
  • At the Company’s discretion, a pro-rated refund (Course fee, less the value of sessions/modules already delivered and a nominal administrative charge) may be considered for exceptional circumstances such as medical emergencies, on submission of supporting documents.
6.3 Non-Refundable Circumstances
  • No refund will be issued where enrollment is cancelled, or access is revoked due to a Student’s violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
  • Registration fees, processing fees, or convenience fees (if charged separately) are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are not available once a Course has been fully completed and a certificate has been issued.
6.4 Refund Processing
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment within 7–14 business days of approval, subject to processing timelines of banks/payment gateways, which are beyond the Company’s control.
  • EMI/installment payments processed through third-party financing partners are governed additionally by that partner’s own refund and cancellation terms.

7. Community Guidelines

Students are typically added to batch-wise community groups (e.g., Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, or LMS discussion forums) to facilitate peer learning, doubt-solving, and networking. The following guidelines apply to all such community spaces:

  • Be respectful: Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, bullying, or abusive language directed at instructors, staff, or fellow Students will not be tolerated.
  • Stay on-topic: Use community channels for course-related discussions, doubt clarification, and peer collaboration; avoid spam, unsolicited promotions, or unrelated solicitations.
  • No sharing of paid content: Do not distribute course recordings, notes, assignments, or paid resources outside the community/LMS, or with individuals who are not enrolled Students.
  • Academic integrity: Plagiarism, sharing solutions during evaluated assessments, or misrepresenting someone else’s work as your own is prohibited and may result in disqualification from certification or placement assistance.
  • No solicitation: Do not use community spaces to advertise unrelated products, services, courses, or job postings without prior permission from the Company.
  • Confidentiality: Any proprietary tools, question banks, interview material, or internal processes shared by the Company or its partners must be kept confidential and not shared publicly.
  • Reporting: If you experience or witness a violation of these guidelines, please report it to support@aslilearn.com with relevant screenshots/evidence.

Violation of these Community Guidelines may result in a warning, temporary suspension from community spaces, or removal from the Course without refund, depending on the severity of the violation, at the Company’s sole discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All course content, including but not limited to video recordings, presentation decks, source code samples, assignments, project templates, and study material, is the exclusive intellectual property of the Company or its licensors.
  • Students are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access such content solely for personal learning during their enrollment period.
  • Reproducing, distributing, selling, publicly displaying, or creating derivative works from course content without prior written consent from the Company is strictly prohibited and may attract legal action.

9. Certification and Placement Assistance

  • Certificates of completion, where applicable, will be issued only upon meeting the minimum attendance, assignment submission, and assessment criteria communicated for each Course.
  • Where general placement assistance is offered as part of a Course, it constitutes reasonable-efforts support (resume building, mock interviews, referrals) and does not by itself constitute a guarantee of employment or a specific salary outcome, unless the Student is separately enrolled in the Placement Guarantee Program described in Section 10.

10. Placement Guarantee Program

The Placement Guarantee Program (“Program”) is an optional/included track (as specified in your enrollment plan) under which Asli Learn commits to supporting eligible Students in securing a relevant job offer within the Program timeline, subject to the Student meeting all eligibility conditions below. If no qualifying job offer is secured despite the Student meeting all conditions, the Student is entitled to a 100% refund of the Course fee, as detailed in this Section.

10.1 Eligibility Conditions (all conditions must be met)
  • Attendance: The Student must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance across all scheduled live classes for the entire Course duration, tracked via the LMS/attendance system.
  • Project Completion: All mandatory projects/capstone assignments must be completed and submitted within the timelines specified in the Course curriculum, meeting the minimum quality/evaluation bar defined by the instructors.
  • Assessments: The Student must clear all module-wise and final assessments/tests with a minimum score of 75% (including permitted re-attempts, if any, within the allowed window).
  • Timely Enrollment Payment: All course fee installments (if opted for an EMI/installment plan) must be paid on time as per the agreed schedule.
  • Code of Conduct: The Student must not have violated these Terms or the Community Guidelines (Section 7) during the Course.
  • Active Job Search Participation: The Student must actively participate in the placement process — this includes updating their resume/portfolio as guided, attending all scheduled mock interviews and employer interviews scheduled by the Company’s placement team, and applying to a minimum number of relevant job openings shared by the Company (as specified in the Program handbook).
  • Accurate Information: The Student must not have submitted false information regarding qualifications, work experience, or identity at the time of enrollment or during the placement process.
  • Genuine Availability: The Student must be genuinely available to take up full-time employment during the Program window (i.e., not concurrently pursuing full-time higher education, another full-time job, or having geographic/relocation constraints not disclosed at enrollment).
10.2 Program Window and Qualifying Job Offer
  • The job-search support window begins on the Student’s certification date (i.e., after successful Course completion) and extends for [6 months] (“Program Window”), unless otherwise stated in your enrollment confirmation.
  • A “Qualifying Job Offer” means a written offer of full-time employment (or, where explicitly agreed, a full-time paid internship/apprenticeship convertible to full-time) in a role relevant to the domain studied (Full Stack Development, Cybersecurity, Data Science & Generative AI, or DevOps/Cloud), sourced either directly through the Company’s hiring partners or independently by the Student during the Program Window.
  • The Student is required to accept at least one Qualifying Job Offer that meets the criteria above. Declining a Qualifying Job Offer without a valid, mutually agreed reason (e.g., statutory bar, documented medical emergency) will render the Student ineligible for a refund under this Program.

10.3 100% Refund on Non-Placement

  • If a Student has met all eligibility conditions in Section 10.1, has actively participated in the placement process throughout the Program Window, and has not received or been offered any Qualifying Job Offer by the end of the Program Window, the Student shall be entitled to a 100% refund of the Course fee paid for the Placement Guarantee Program.
  • To claim the refund, the Student must submit a written refund request to support@aslilearn.com within 30 days of the Program Window ending, along with proof of job-search participation (applications made, interviews attended, feedback received) as maintained in the Company’s placement records.
  • Refunds approved under this Program will be processed within 30 business days of approval, to the original mode of payment.
10.4 Exclusions — Program Does Not Apply / Refund Not Payable Where
  • The Student fails to meet any one or more of the eligibility conditions in Section 10.1 (e.g., attendance below 80%, assessment scores below 75%, incomplete projects).
  • The Student declines, ignores, or fails to appear for a scheduled interview with a hiring partner without valid prior communication.
  • The Student declines a Qualifying Job Offer as defined in Section 10.2.
  • The Student voluntarily withdraws from the Program or the Course, or is removed for violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
  • The Student independently secures and accepts any full-time job offer (in the trained domain or otherwise) during the Course or Program Window, whether or not sourced through the Company.
  • The Student becomes unavailable for employment during the Program Window (e.g., enrolls in full-time higher education, relocates outside serviceable geographies without informing the placement team, or cites personal unavailability).
  • Delays or non-cooperation by the Student in completing onboarding formalities (background verification, documentation) requested by a prospective employer.
  • Macroeconomic hiring freezes at a specific employer are not attributable to the Company; however, the Company will continue to make reasonable efforts to source alternate opportunities within the remaining Program Window.
10.5 General Conditions
  • The Placement Guarantee Program is a placement-support commitment, not a guarantee of any specific employer, role, work location, or compensation beyond the minimum threshold specified.
  • The Company may, at its discretion, extend the Program Window by a reasonable period where the Student has demonstrably fulfilled all conditions but a Qualifying Job Offer is pending finalization (e.g., an offer is under process).
  • This Program applies only to Students who have explicitly enrolled in and paid for the Placement Guarantee track, as reflected in their enrollment confirmation/invoice.
